Hey, everyone, welcome to week four in Module Two. And in this module, we're going to be covering kind of the old way versus the new way when it comes to finding WordPress developers how to vet them how to do everything properly, the mistakes I've made, and kind of the pros and cons are is onshore versus offshore developers.

And so kind of the old way, the way that I first started was I would go to Upwork, I create an ad. And since I had smaller budgets, I knew I had to go offshore. And offshore, there's definitely talented developers there. But you really have to know what you're looking for, because everyone over promises, and a lot of times they under deliver, so you really have to know what you're getting into and have a process in order to vet them. When I first started, I would just throw up an ad, I would read through different proposals, kind of see which one sounded the best then do like a quick interview. And then I would just pull the trigger and just hire someone. And they didn't really quite know how to describe what we were doing. Obviously, it was converting the design or the front end template to WordPress. But after that, I didn't know the ins and outs.

And so in these upcoming modules, we're going to show you exactly how to find a developer how to vet them out. And also what you need to communicate with them so that you can ensure that your project is going to be done right properly, and it's going to be better for you. And more importantly, the client. And I've found a prosom process and a system that really does work. And so you're going to have a couple different options, you can absolutely do this yourself. After you go through these trainings, you're going to know exactly what to look for, how to find talent, how to find offshore talent, how to vet them, how to manage the project properly, how to deal with bugs, and then how to actually set up the WordPress site what you want to communicate with them. And you're also going to have an option. As I mentioned in the previous module, I'm bringing in my partner Alloa, one of the co founders.

And what they do is amazing. They have actually vetted over 40,000 different offshore agencies and narrowed it down to the top 1%. They spent months and months vetting these agencies. So I'm actually going to bring on the co founder that I use them for my partner agency they've been amazing to work with. They do all types of projects, but they're really strong with WordPress, they work really well. And the agencies that they work with are fantastic. Plus, they have quality control built in. And all you have to do is make sure you're just managing the project properly. You can also use onshore developers, and I actually have an onshore developer, a local us developer that I use. But that's mainly for projects that are much, much higher end that are a bit more complicated. For example, if we need custom plugins, or if I need my developer to interact directly with a client, I have that option. And that's not a bad thing for you to have either. But in order to maximize profitability and scalability, I highly recommend using offshore, we're going to teach you how to do this yourself. And we're also going to give you an option to speak with Aloa learn more about what they do, and you can plug directly into their platform and we've got some special offers for you. That's coming up at the end of this week.

So with that said, let's hop into it.
